Dear parents of Pre-K 4B,
Hope you all are having a fantastic summer and
enjoying the time with your family!
I wanted to take the time to introduce myself and say just how excited I am to be be given the opportunity to teach your child in PreK-4! My name is Mrs. Mindy Battista and this will be my 19th year as a teacher. I have taught Pre-K, 3rd and 5th grade and for 10 of those teaching years, I was a teacher at St. John Chrysostom School and 5 at Mother of Providence. I graduated from Neumann University with a degree in Early Childhood/ Elementary and have my certification in both. I have a 9 year old son, Noah, who attends MPRCS, and a 5 year old named Landon, whom also is attending MPRCS. We also have a dog named, Utley. We live in Swarthmore and really enjoy the community. I enjoy playing and watching sports, especially Philadelphia Teams, and really love hanging out with my family, especially my 15 nieces and nephews, and friends.
I am very excited to be teaching your children and please, if you have any questions or any information you would like me to know about your child, please don’t hesitate to email me. I always say, this age is such an important year because the children are like ”sponges” and are ready and eager to absorb all the information they need. I am going to help in this process and hope you will too:)
Have a great rest of the summer
and will see everyone in September!
Mrs. Mindy Battista
