Mother of Providence Regional Catholic Schools offers students opportunities to develop life-long skills in the classroom and outside of school.
Honors Math
This program is for students in fourth through eighth grade who meet Archdiocesan requirements. The program provides more in-depth coverage of math concepts at a quicker pace, giving students the opportunity to take higher-level math classes upon entering high school.
Technology Program
Students visit the technology/STREAM lab weekly for formal instruction. Teachers also schedule lab time for students to work on projects in other disciplines, providing real-world experience. MPRCS offers a 1:1 tablet program for Kindergarten. 1st grade through 8th grade offers 1:1 Chromebook program.
Foreign Language Program
All students in Pre-K through 8th grade receive instruction in Spanish.
Music
Students attend weekly music classes incorporating singing, instrumental performance, music reading and notation, improvisation, and music history. A band program is offered for students in grades four through eight. Piano and choral opportunities are available as well.
ArtOur Fine Art program for students Pre-K through eighth grade provides instruction in art elements, principles of design, and exposure to the works of famous artists. Students explore a variety of media and techniques including painting, color theory, drawing, sculpting, printmaking, textiles, mosaics, ceramics, and collage.Student Council
Student Council officers uphold the highest standards in behavior and effort and are responsible for promoting school spirit and pride. Duties include coordinating school-wide activities such as pep rallies and Spirit Day, as well as organizing a wide range of charitable service projects.
Drama Program
The MPRCS Drama Club presents a major theatrical production each spring showcasing the many talents of our students. Singing, dancing, acting, and backstage opportunities give students a realistic, exciting theater experience.
Science Explorers
An innovative, hands-on afterschool science club dedicated to providing an opportunity for children in grades 1-5 to become engaged in the wonders of science.
First In Math
First In Math Online is a proven math-practice tool used in grades K-3 that leverages students’ love of online gaming to build math skills and create high levels of engagement.
IXL
IXL is provides students in grades 4-8 with a personalized learning experience. It encompasses a comprehensive curriculum, individualized guidance, and real-time analytics, IXL meets the unique needs of each learner.
