Main Objective: To provide a spiritual, nurturing, and safe environment where children can grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Children are prepared to enter kindergarten at the conclusion of the year.
Religion: To develop a positive self image while in an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and where students have respect for God's wonderful world. Through daily prayer, attending mass, and learning about saints, the children will develop respect for others property and all of God's blessings.
Math: To develop an understanding of math concepts through manipulation and practical experiences using concrete materials basic counting skills, sorting, forming sets, graphing, recognizing numbers, and classification are all activities which can help the children begin to problem solve.
English Language Arts: The skills in ELA include listening, speaking, thinking, and writing. Activities to reinforce and enhance the love of language is songs, stories, word-wall, and journal writing.
Social Studies: To explore the differences and similarities of people and cultures. Activities will be working in groups to promote respect and cooperation with one another. Community helpers, places, holidays, and religions are all to be explored.
Science: To learn all about the importance of protecting our environment and all of God's creations. We will explore through plants, weather, seasons, animals, personal health, recycling, and the earth.
