5th Grade
*This week, fifth grade will take a reading and spelling test on Thursday. The grammar part of the reading test focuses on direct quotations and interjections. The best pages of the Reader's Notebook to study for the grammar portion of the test are pages 115-117. The Journeys textbook is also a great resource for grammar support.
*In social studies, we will continue our textbook readings.
*If you have not already sent in the $3 donation for Santa's travel expenses to MPRCS, please do so. Students received a paper about this last week.
*Ficitonal narratives are due this Thursday, December 7th.
*There is no school on Friday.
*Report cards are going home today. You can keep the actual report, however, please sign the yellow envelope and return it.

6th Grade

The best pages of the Reader's Notebook to study for the grammar portion of the test are pages 115-117. The Journeys textbook is also a great resource for grammar support.
*In social studies, we are starting our second passport project. It will be based off of countries in Eastern Europe. The rubric is on Google Classroom. The project is due Monday, December 18th. Food can be brought in on presentation day, however, it is not required.
