Developing a strong foundation for life-long learning is the goal of early childhood education at MPRCS. Students are prepared for future academic success in a lively, caring environment.
The curriculum includes religion, reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Instruction focuses on achieving reading readiness, developing writing skills, and mastering basic number concepts. Students are introduced to the teachings of Jesus Christ through Bible stories and celebrations of Catholic holidays, with the importance of practicing Christian values integrated throughout the curriculum.
Early Childhood Students also attend weekly classes in art, music, foreign language, technology, library skills, and physical education. Instruction continues outside the classroom with periodic excursions to local cultural, historical, and agricultural institutions.
