Covid Information

As of April 12, 2022, our weekly case count is 2.

Notify the school nurse BEFORE sending your child to school if any of the following are in play:

• If your child is showing any COVID-related symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea, chills, body aches, sore throat, headache, loss of taste, and/or loss of smell.
• If your child is nauseous or is vomiting.
• If your child or anyone in your household is testing for COVID because of symptoms.
• If your child or anyone in your household tests positive for COVID.
• If your child has been exposed to a positive case of COVID.

Test Positive for Covid
Applies to everyone, regardless of vaccination status:

• Your child must stay home from school for 5 days
• If your child has no symptoms or his/her symptoms are resolving after 5 days* contact the nurse so she can approve a return to the physical classroom.
• Students must wear a mask for 5 days upon approval to return to school.

*The five days begin the day of symptom onset or the day of test positivity in asymptomatic individuals.


Close Contact w/COVID Positive Individual
Please contact the school nurse as protocol could vary for each individual circumstance.  The following may be considered when determining the need to quarantine as a result of close contact:

• Vaccination status
• Has had COVID
• Negative test result
• Masked
• Circumstances of exposure (e.g. <15 minutes of sustained exposure)
