Class Dojo
ClassDojo is a free positive behavior management program designed to build positive learning habits that last a lifetime. It is an online system shared by parents, teachers, and students. Class Dojo allows me to monitor and log the behavior of every student, and the class as a whole, by awarding points for the ‘good behaviors and tasks’ they accomplish. Students don't receive points when they make unacceptable choices.
Students are eager to improve behavior quickly as points can be awarded wherever we are: in class, in the hallway, on a field trip, or anywhere else. Data entry is easy and quick via any computer, Android or iOS device and we can display this via computer, phone, projector, or interactive whiteboard.
Sharing photos and videos of the kids in school with parents is quick and easy with Class Dojo. Once connected to the Dojo parents get alerts that a new photo has been posted either in their child's personal collection or the class story. Parents can also send photos of their child to me and the class can view those photos when I open them on the smart board.
