Summer Reading: Welcome to 7th grade at MPRCS. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and fun. This summer I would like you to read as much as possible. Reading is fun. There are two books that I require you to read. The one book is The Crossing: How George Washington Saved the American Revolution.
The other book is The Race to Build-and-Steal the World’s Most Dangerous Weapon, by Steve Sheinkin.
After reading Sheinkin’s book, please write a one page paper (Times New Roman, 12 Font, 1.5 spacing) in response to the follow following prompt: Do you believe Oppenheimer regretted working on this project? Why or why not? Do you believe the other members of the project should have been punished? Why or why not? After reading The Crossing: How George Washington Saved the American Revolution, I would like you to write a one page reaction paper to the book. In this paper, I would like to know what your reaction to the book was. Did you like it? Why or why not? What did you like about the book, what didn’t you like about the book? The paper, also, is to be typed in Times New Roman, 12 font, 1.5 spacing
Have a wonderful summer, enjoy your free time, and READ! See you in September.
