Sean currently leads all strategic marketing, lead generation, and public relations efforts for Radnor, PA based direct-to-consumer financial services company J.G. Wentworth. In addition, Sean is responsible for the Personal Lending business unit at JGW. He is responsible for managing an annual budget of $70MM and is a member of the executive committee.
Prior to JGW, Sean managed the J.P. Morgan and Chase Sapphire business units at J.P. Morgan Chase. He was responsible for $700MM in annual revenue, $150MM in annual earnings, 2.5MM customers and a 300-member team in five locations. Chase Sapphire was voted the top travel rewards card by Fortune, Fox Business, and The Points Guy.
Prior to joining Chase, Sean was the head of Advertising and Brand Management for USAA, in San Antonio, TX. He was responsible for planning and implementing all integrated marketing campaigns for a Fortune 200 financial services firm. During his time at USAA, the company surpassed record revenue, product acquisition, and member retention metrics and was twice named “Customer Service Champs” by BusinessWeek.
Sean started his career in Corporate America at The Leo Burnett Advertising Agency in Chicago. He was responsible for planning and implementing marketing campaigns across all channels for clients that included Philip Morris, Disney, Gateway, and the U.S. Army. During his time leading account teams at Leo Burnett, Marlboro was named the top advertising icon of the 20th century by Adweek, and the U.S. Army was named the top event marketer by Event Marketer magazine.
Prior to joining Leo Burnett, Sean served in various roles as an active-duty officer in the United States Army, rising to the rank of Captain.
Sean has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Economics cum laude from The University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
He has twice run the Chicago marathon and completed ten Olympic-distance triathlons. Interests include spending time with family, travel, cycling, and college football. Sean resides in Wallingford, PA with his wife, Sara and their three daughters Maureen, Bridget, and Delaney, and son Patrick.
