CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL !
The 4th and 5th grades will perform songs at the Spring Concert and Art Show on
Tuesday, May 23, at 7:00 P.M. The concert will also include recorder,violin, 8th Grade bells, Beginner, and Advanced band students.Dress clothing is required.The students' art projects will also be on display.
Students should be at school no later than 6:45 p.m.
We are currently learning about the instruments of the orchestra in each class. Examples of
each group of instruments are demonstrated in the classes, as well as viewing a video of the sound of each instrument.
The 4th and 5th grades are practicing songs for the Spring Concert on Tuesday,May 23.
The 6th,7th, and 8th grades are practicing for singing God Bless America at the Blue
Rocks game in June.
6th grade will begin learning the history of music with the Baroque Period.
7th grade is currently learning about the Romantic Period of music.
8th grade is currently learning about the Jazz and Swing eras of music.
